Kempner Water Supply Corporation Board of Directors held a public meeting on August 27, 2025, and voted to increase the rates to cover the new budget and inflation driven costs in general.

The new rates will take effect 30 days from this Notice on October 2, 2025. The rate Changes are as follows:

Meter size: 3/4" Current Rate-$75.00 New Rate-$80.00
Meter size: 1" Current Rate-$187.50 New Rate-$200.00
Meter size: 1 1/2" Current Rate-$375.00 New Rate-$400.00
Meter size: 2" Current Rate-$600.00 New Rate-$640.00
Meter size: 3" Current Rate-$700.00 New Rate-$800.00
Meter size: 4" Current Rate $1400.00 New Rate-$1600.00

Water Gallon Charge
Current Rates:
$7.05/1000g for 0-15,000 gallons
$7.30/1000g for 15,001 to 30,000 gallons
$7.55/1000g for 30,001 gallons and up

New Rates:
$7.05/1000g for 0-2,000 gallons
$7.50/1000g for 2,000 to 15,000 gallons
$7.75/1000g for 15,001 to 30,000 gallons
$8.00/1000g for 30,001 gallons and up
